On December 26,2007 Alex Arellano (Brazos), Lee and Maria Garcia from Austin, Texas, Bill and Vickie Kelly from Atlanta,GA., and Rhonda Walters from Athens, Texas went to Reynosa, Mexico to visit the Orphanage Casa Hogar Benito Juarez. Brazos Exdtendidos would like to thank these people for being so helpful in accompanying me and assisting me in giving out the gifts to the children. These people took from their time to help in the distribution of toys and goodies, and worked hard long hours to make this possible. This wonderful trip was made possible by your donations. We were able to purchase sheets for all the kids, which were greatly needed and we purchased pajama's for the girls. We also provided much needed staples such as beans, rice, toilet paper, shampoo, soap and paper towels.

Yes it was You, all the people that opened your heart and contributed to children who have no one else to support them. We not only gave to the Orphanage but managed to also distribute gifts to a small village near the Orphanage. This is where we got our rewards, to encounter people who have very little and for us to be able to give them small items such as candy,stuffed toys and clothes.

I will never forget my encounter with an elderly man, the age of 84, totally blind and could quote the Bible inside and out. He was a divine example that love has no bearer. He made our day, speaking so strongly of how and why life meant so much to him and how he still has to work even while he is blind. We were asked to bless this gentle soul and got a blessing in return.

Once again may I say thanks and may you continue to believe in what we do. It's all about helping those who can't help themselves and make them happy. All the monies were provided by YOU, the people, and yes we will continue to use such resources in blessing children throughout the world who have no parents and need our assistance.
